Description
Some kids are afraid of dungeons. They are dark and full of unknown creatures. But the hero of this game doesn’t know what fear is. He is willing to explore the entire underworld in search of the answers. And you are about to help him! Lead the boy through the underground tunnels and work your way around local dwellers that will cross your path quite often arousing a reasonable question: fighting or talking? The choice is up to you, but don’t forget that your decisions will affect the following course of events. All the replicas coming from other characters, everything that happens next will directly depend on your actions. So don’t be in a hurry to start a fight. Perhaps, it is better to try and solve the problem without using your weapons?
If you decide to fight, though, make sure you are fully focused on the combat, since you’ll need all your reflexes to make a well-timed move and deliver maximum damage or dodge a dangerous attack. The visual representation is rather smart: your hero is illustrated as a heart in a pop-up box that you have to move around avoiding your opponent’s hits. If you win, you’ll get a certain amount of experience and will be able to increase your level. Be careful in your choices and make sure that your actions won’t have undesired consequences as you move through the game and get in touch with ever more characters!

According to the legend, all monsters were trapped underground, and humans got rid of their scary appearances and characters, but who knows, were they so dangerous, or humans are just too cruel? You have to discover the answer, and your way wouldn’t be that easy. Your first guide will be a nice lady, who will tell you a bit about her world. But when you will be ready to go in the next stage, she won’t let you, and here comes the first dilemma: kill her or try to persuade. Your main goal is to come back to your world without losing your health, and this is rather difficult, because peaceful escape is hardly possible, and you will see this with the help of Toriel.

Be ready to read a lot, because you will find plenty of dialogs during the game. You will meet a great number of antagonists that would interact with your hero, and you will see several commands that you may use. The first one is “fight”, and everything is clear – you chose a monster and start a battle, and try to do everything to make your contestant’s health reach zero. You can choose “act”, and here there is a wide range of actions, depending on you are facing at the moment. If you don’t want to fight, you can talk to the monster, or pet it, and then its yellow color will tell you that it doesn’t want to start the battle. The only thing is that you don’t know the right order of such sub-commands, and it can take a lot of time to guess. “Item” contains many useful things that you may need during the game. “Mercy” allows you to end the encounter in non-violent way, but you should use it only when the monster is yellow, otherwise it can start a fight one more time. Remember, that you should “act” first, and then your chances to finish the meeting will be higher. You have to choose to what side you belong – peaceful or violent, and then act according to your choice. But be ready to face all the consequences, because each your step will affect monsters.
